Guest Information | Dress Code

Dress Code:

The Dress Code Policy of York Downs Golf and Country Club provides for the appropriate and expected dress required in all areas of the Clubhouse, golf course and surrounding property. These standards of dress apply at all times, are respectfully enforced by York Downs’ staff, and are the responsibility of all members individually and when hosting guests.

Clubhouse Attire

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, business attire, smart-casual or appropriate golf attire is permitted in the Clubhouse for all members and guests. Smart denim jeans that fit on or above the hips and are not frayed, torn, bleached, dirty or faded are permitted in the Clubhouse and on the Patio. There is no requirement for jacket and tie unless otherwise stated and event specific.

Sponsored Functions & Special Events Attire

Functions sponsored by members or special club events may require a specific standard of dress that will be prominently displayed with any announcements or promotional material. If in doubt, contact the General Manager or Clubhouse Manager. Private events may establish their own dress code requirements within the principles outlined in the Clubhouse Dress Attire.

Dining Fees:

Please note that York Downs members pay an annual food & beverage fee, which allows our members to receive lower prices on all food and beverage items. Unfortunately, the reduced prices on our Menus don't apply to the guests from other clubs. There will be an additional 30% added to all your food & beverage purchases.
